 I created this site to share with you information about the properties and uses of essential oils in aromatherapy and their application methods. On this site you will also find some of the crafts I make to help mitigate the impact of day to day stressors and manage my mental illnesses. I will never diagnose, treat, cure, or heal any medical condition. I will not give medical advice to others except to say contact your healthcare professional. I make no medical claims. Sui Et Res is a passion. It's a purpose. I do this because I know others desire the same thing, and hope to help you with yours.

Back Story

After years of formulating, making, and selling bath and body products, I decided it was time to step back. I needed to reaccess all the things I was doing in a day, how much time I was wasting, whether or not the things I was doing were bringing me joy, and honestly if  the astronomical amount of money I was spending was being recouped. That's when I decided to pivot. I had lost myself to the business of having a business, and the fulfillment I had in the beginning was no longer there. I have always loved aromatherapy, because it was a tool I used to help me focus, to create a warm and inviting home space, and to help foster better sleeping habits. So, I decided to do more of the things my healthcare professionals suggested. Hobbies and crafts help keep the brain "sharp", idle hands busy, and fill my days with things to do instead of waiting on one day to end so the next one can begin. Every action is more intentional. I don't always succeed in keeping all the negative thoughts and feelings at bay, but I am doing better for myself, and taking better care of my things.  Anything I make, you can purchase. It will help me be able to buy more stuff to make more stuff. It's just that simple.
